Unselfish concern for the welfare of others
We are a non profit 501c
privately funded horse rescue. What we don't raise in donations and at
fundraisers comes from our pockets! In 2002, about 40% of our money was
from donations and fundraisers, the balance came from our family income.
Needless to say, we always appreciate donations. And all your donations are tax-deductible
and 100% of the money goes directly to the horses' care

Ever had an itch you just can't get scratched?
The average cost of
caring for a healthy horse averages about $115/month, but if the horse has
special needs this can increase dramatically.
There
are several ways to help out...
 | Volunteer
at the Ranch or at a fundraiser!
Have fun, meet the horses and the
special people that care for them. Go to the "Exciting
Events"
page for more information. |
 | Sponsor
a horse! We have lots of wonderful horses that would love a special
friend that would be their sponsor. Sponsorship entitles you to visit
your sponsor horse (by appointment), it also includes a detailed newsletter
of the horse you have chosen along with a photo. See the "Sponsor
Horses" pages
to find your new equine pen-pal then click your preference for the sponsorship

 | Make
a donation of needed items. We always have need of items such as good
grass hay, buckets, halters, lead ropes, blankets, vet wrap. You get
the idea! Anything you might think of for horse care we can probably
make use of! We also appreciate donations of items that we can use as
raffle items for fundraisers. |
 | We
also save Rotectic 1+2 and Zimectrin wormer UPC and proof of purchase seals.
We get $1.00 from the company for our rescue for each one we save. So, if
you have them please send them to us...This helps a lot so just pop them in
the mail to us the next time you worm your horses!
|
 | Adoption
or Fostering program.
For the
horses who are healthy enough, we take great joy in placing them in loving
homes. As a Rescue policy, we retain 1/2 ownership to help ensure that
the horse will always have a home, even in the placement doesn't work out.
You can contact us for further information. |

Just
another lazy day at Tiny Timbers!
