Shorty

Shorty is a very stout 13 year old grade horse. He has been well taken care of by his previous owners unfortunately his owners before that must had mistreated him he has some "trust" issues to overcome we are quite confident that with as smart as he is that will be no problem.

 

Shea

Shea is 1/2 of a Thoroughbred mother/daughter team.  She is the 19 year-old mom of another resident, Ava.  She was underweight and covered in rainrot on arrival. Her high metabolism has made weight gain challenging, but as you can see, she has made tremendous progress.

  Chance

Chance is a BLM mustang.  He is learning to trust people but is still in the early stages of being gentled.  He was brought to us by a kind family who saved him from a death sentence.  Luckily they thought he was worth another chance!

. Blondie

Blondie is a 25 year old draft type mule who is very smart. she has proven she can open gates and when her water is dirty she dumps her own water bucket. Blondie came in with Shorty, so she has wonderful past owners who took good care of her also.
 

Destiny and Momma

Momma was a rescue from a sale barn.  Little did we know she was carrying a surprise! Momma had been several abused and wouldn't let us touch her until the last month of her pregnancy.  But when Destiny was born we were allowed to imprint her.  She is very sweet and is great support to Momma.  Momma still doesn't allow us to halter her, due to her past, but she knows that she is loved and cared for now.
